The 57.6-mile loop through the remote Cathedral district, usually accessible to most cars with high clearance, will take you on a breathtaking tour of the San Rafael Swell and distant mountains, as well as give you close-up looks of giant castle-like sandstone formations. Capitol Reef National Park is open all day every day and there are some great hikes to enjoy such as the Hickman Bridge, Capitol Gorge and more.

The Fruita Area is a very accessible place it offers views along the paved Scenic Drive. It has varying hikes of difficulty and a orchard.
